6-8instructions

E/T Light Software Ver 6.8 Configuration Instructions. There are two versions of this software. “Ver 6.8 IR” is for units having the infrared (IR/Red/Green/Blue) LED’s, while “Ver 6.8 A” is for units having the no IR LED, (Red/Yellow/Green/Blue).

ON/OFF:
1. ON – Press and release button till you arrive at desired color/flash pattern. (R/Y/G/B or IR/R/G/B)
2. OFF/UNLOCK – Press and hold button down for 3 seconds (3 Second Rule)
3. Note – (R/Y/G/B) E/T Lights will LOCK in your color selection once the selection has been left on for over 3 seconds. You will NOT be able to change the locked selection or turn it off by clicking the switch. To UNLOCK, turn off (3 Second Rule). (Note you can reprogram V6.8A and V6.8IR to have the LOCK feature activated or not activate.)

Reprogram sequence, only for version 6.8A and 6.8IR:

1 *  Hold switch down until you see the LED’s flash twirl on very fast (Aprox. 12 seconds), DO NOT look away or you will miss the flash twirl. (The LED flash twirl is how the E/T Light advises you it is ready to receive your input.)

2 *  RELEASE the switch and within 2 seconds of seeing the LED’s flash twirl start clicking the switch, click once for mode 1, click twice for mode 2, click three times for mode 3, etc….

3 * When you get to the mode you desire, HOLD the switch down until you see the green LED flash. (By holding the switch down you are telling the software this is the program I want.) Ex. if you want mode 7 you click seven times and hold the switch down on the seventh click till you see the green LED flash.

* When Green LED flashes release the switch. (The green light tells you it has the new mode in active memory.)

* If at any time you see the red LED flash fast, the E/T Light is telling you START OVER (it did not understand your instructions and kept the last program in memory.). Turn the E/T Light OFF (3 Second Rule) and start the reprogramming sequence.

Infrared Version (Note that the unit automatically switches itself OFF anytime the infrared LED is illuminated continuous or blinking for ~3 hours. This ~3 hour automatic infrared shutoff timer is restated whenever the pushbutton is pressed to change light selections):

Mode 1: IR on continuous, IR blink slow, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 2: IR on continuous, IR LED blink slow, IR LED blink fast, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 3 (Default): IR LED on continuous, IR LED blink slow, red on continuous, green LED on continuous, blue LED on continuous, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 4: IR LED on continuous, IR LED blink slow, red on continuous, green LED on continuous, blue LED on continuous, both red and green LED’s on continuous, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 5: IR LED on continuous, IR LED blink slow, red LED on continuous, red LED blink slow, green LED on continuous, green LED blink slow, blue LED on continuous, blue LED blink slow, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 6: IR LED on continuous, IR LED blink slow, red LED on continuous, red LED blink slow, green LED on continuous, green LED blink slow, blue LED on continuous, blue LED blink slow, both red and green LED’s on continuous, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 7: IR LED on continuous, IR blink slow, red LED on continuous, red LED blink slow, green LED on continuous, green LED blink slow, blue LED on continuous, blue LED blink slow, strobe all 4 LED’s slow, strobe all 4 LED’s moderate, strobe all 4 LED’s fast, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Modes 8-14 are identical to modes 1-7 except that modes 8-14 have the “LED LOCK” feature.

Mode 15 (Grenade Mode): Pressing and releasing the pushbutton starts a 2 second delay timer during which time no LED’s are illuminated. 2 seconds after the release of the pushbutton all 4 LED’s strobe fast for 2 ½ seconds and then automatically switch OFF. If the pushbutton is pressed and released once or multiple times during 2 second delay before strobing, the 2 second delay is restarted each time the button is released. However, if the pushbutton is held depressed for more than 3 seconds continuous, the unit switches OFF and does not strobe.

Amber Version:

Mode 1: red LED on continuous, amber LED on continuous, green LED on continuous, blue LED on continuous, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 2: red LED on continuous, amber LED on continuous, green LED on continuous, blue LED on continuous, both red and green LED’s on continuous, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 3: red LED on continuous, red LED blink slow, amber LED on continuous, amber LED blink slow, green LED on continuous, green LED blink slow, blue LED on continuous, blue LED blink slow, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 4: red LED on continuous, red blink slow, amber LED on continuous, amber LED blink slow, green LED on continuous, green LED blink slow, blue LED on continuous, blue LED blink slow, both red and green LED’s on continuous, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 5: red LED on continuous, red blink slow, amber LED on continuous, amber LED blink slow, green LED on continuous, green LED blink slow, blue LED on continuous, blue LED blink slow, strobe LED’s slow, strobe LED’s moderate, strobe LED’s fast, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 6: red LED on continuous, red blink slow, amber LED on continuous, amber LED blink slow, green LED on continuous, green LED blink slow, blue LED on continuous, blue LED blink slow, both red and green LED’s on continuous, strobe LED’s slow, strobe LED’s moderate, strobe LED’s fast, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Mode 7: red LED on continuous, red LED blink slow, red LED blink fast, amber LED on continuous, amber LED blink slow, amber LED blink fast, green LED on continuous, green LED blink slow, green LED blink fast, blue LED on continuous, blue LED blink slow, blue LED blink fast, strobe LED’s slow, strobe LED’s moderate, strobe LED’s fast, OFF then repeats (no lock)

Modes 8-14 are identical to modes 1-7 except that modes 8-14 have the “LED LOCK” feature. The unit defaults to mode 10 if never previously configured.
